Elements of Successful Blogging


Name the word ‘Blogging’ and almost everyone is there for it. This Blog drift has now taken over almost everybody; blogs are driving almost everyone in the blogging world. Not a very new concept in Corporate world but it’s been used massively by CEO’s for acquiring rapport in the industry.
Popularly known as Blog, web log was coined by Jorn Barger in 1997. Web log denotes any website or mere a web page about any topic maintained in chronological order. Blogs initially were defined in two broad categories as personal blogs and business blogs but with the concept emergence as a profit tool now it’s getting corporate as well as defining new boundaries to it.
Perhaps, with burgeoning of blogging zone everywhere down the line, companies are now also adding the variant parameters like Internal blogging and External blogging. Other concept of CEO Blog is also a matter of discussion these days. Business units use blog system to communicate with their customers and employees as well. The blog system is often considered as synonymous to increasing traffic
Blogging actually in a way represents company itself. Henceforth it becomes very necessary to manage blogs and the content being posted. Through blogging, company employee, head or company spokesperson can write about company policies, company products and schemes or current topics and can get feedback both internally and externally.
Internally it can be used as a replica to physical meetings, conferences and discussions. It is also used so as to announce notices, annual/quarterly reports and other newsletters etc. It also puts a panel of discussion through which every employee can put up their views over certain systems and the postings. It cultivates the spirit of all the employees and gives presence to everyone.
External blogs are also very crucial as here the targeted sources are the person with whom companies generate revenues. The posting include all the constructive traits that a company is offering plus their management and marketing strategies for the benefits of their customers. Being an informal writing, officials just don’t have to mess up with technical facts and figures but here they have to make sure that content for blogs is comprehensive, effective and appealing so as to project the good image of the company.
However getting on the blogs comes not that easy. The thumb rule here is not just about mincing the words but your blogging must be well researched, practical, timely, and concise and above all should be on net on punctual-basis.
For successful blogging a must keep-on is- one should not beat round the bush but concentrate on being curt and precise while keeping in mind company’s focus area.
